Jose Francisco Rivera, 77, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and partner passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Jose was an entrepreneur who had owned businesses such as a restaurant, a convention center, and a furniture store. He enjoyed traveling and playing Bingo. He is survived by his loving family, his sons, Jon Duenez and Frank (Cindy) Rivera of Victoria, his daughters, Melissa (Johner) Martin of Belton and Patricia (Anthony) Erevia of Victoria , his sister, Elia (Gilbert) Garza of Houston, his life partner, Jeanette Kane of Laughlin, Nevada, thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Taft with Father Peter Thenan as celebrant. Interment will follow at Lamas Memorial Park in Taft.
