Adolfo Martinez, Sr. went to be with the Lord peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.  Adolfo was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  Adolfo took pride in his yard work. He did lots of woodwork and was always wearing his cowboy boots.

Adolfo was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Noberta Martinez.  Adolfo is survived by his loving wife, Antonia; his son, Adolfo Martinez, Jr; and his daughter, Ninfa Martinez; one brother, Jose Martinez; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 from

3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton with a holy rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Edroy with Father Georgia as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Edroy Cemetery in Edroy, Texas.​
