Cremation refers soley to the manner in which you or your loved one has chosen to deal with the phsical remains. It does not limit the ways you can honor your loved one's life. We suggest that you have a funeral or memorial service, to honor the life of your loved one and continue the healing process.
All too often, families discount the value of ceremony after the death of a loved one. What they do not know is that a funeral or memorial service is an important part of the healing process.
We, at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home, understand the needs of the grieving family over their loss of a loved one. We have long partnered with the surrounding community for over 37 years and are honored to have been the trusted custodian of all "family members"that we have served.
Your Choice Of Funeral
When your loved one has chosen to be buried, the ceremonies you request revolve around the casket being present. Traditions may be followed, with a viewing, and then a funeral service in the chapel. Or you could choose to have a more private memorial service, even in the family home. A private service at the graveside could then follow these more public events. We are here to listen to your concerns, share our experience, and help you to arrive at the best way to gather together, prior to your loved one's interment in a cemetery of your selection.
