We, at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home, understand the needs of the grieving family over their loss of a loved one.  We have long partnered with the surrounding community and are honored to have been the trusted by all family members we have served. 

SERVICES

We offer a variety of services and will be there throughout the planning process to provide a service that best suits you and your loved ones' wishes. Services may be held in our chapel, viewing rooms, or arranged with a local church. Public or private burials are both arrangements we are familiar with. We are here to listen to your concerns, share our experience, and help you to arrive at the best way to gather together, prior to your loved one's interment in a cemetery of your selection.

 

We can also assist with the following: 

  • Burial and/or cremation options

  • Casket and/or urn selection

  • Obituaries

    • Our staff can prepare an obituary for your loved one to be published on our website and shared with local newspapers. If you would like to prepare an obituary, it can be sent directly to our staff at rgfhinc120@att.net. 

  • Death certificates

    • We will prioritize completing the necessary steps for you to obtain a death certificate quickly as this is helpful for insurance purposes or other situations. 

  • Pre-planning

    • Our staff can discuss options and document decisions for planning a funeral ahead of time. This will take decisions away from your family members and allow for your wishes to be followed exactly. 

    • The Texas Department of Banking's Prepaid Funeral Contracts site (www.prepaidfunerals.texas.gov) provides information to enable consumers to make informed decisions related to prepaid contracts.
