Cody McMeans, 36 years old, from Odem, Texas went home to heaven in the early morning hours of August 2, 2026.  He was a beautiful soul who fought hard in this life and now he is at peace. The loves of his life were his two children, Charlie and Cady.  He loved them with everything in him and they were his whole world. He was a cherished and very loved son, a very much loved brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, and friend. We know that he is at peace, but we will be heartbroken forever for his loss and cherish his

love and memories for the rest of our lives.

Cody is survived by his children, the loves of his life, Charles Anthony McMeans and Cadence Rae McMeans; his parents, Tami and Greg Pfluger; his brothers, Billy Reeves, Bryan McMeans, Garrett Pfluger; his sisters, Autumn McMeans, Brianna Schlebauc, Krissie Maxwell, and Kassie Bibby; his grandfather, Bill Reeves and his girlfriend Audra Athey.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlotte and Edward McMeans and Phyllis Reeves; his brothers, Brian Lee Raska and Timothy Mark Raska; and his dad, Jimmy McMeans.

​

Services will be on August 15, 2026 at the First Baptist Church Odem, 307 W Turner in Odem, Texas in the Family Life Center.
