On the 26th of May, 2026 Ishmael Rossett Jr. passed away at the age of 74.  By the grace of God, his son was by his side when he passed away.  Ishmael was born in Karnes City to Ishmael and Fidela Rossett.  He lived in Runge, Texas for a while, and then moved to

Sinton where he was raised.  He built the family home in Rancho Chico, where he and Angelita, his ex-wife, raised their four children. He excelled as a backhoe operator and enjoyed traveling while working as a truck driver.  He retired doing the job he loved

most, working alongside his son as a carpenter.  Some of his hobbies were fishing, working on cars, and barbecuing.

He is survived by his four children, Ishmael III (Eva), Rosemarie (Guillermo), Julie, and Jesse; his grandchildren, Amanda, Randy, Rebecca, Jennifer, Rose, Julie, Angel, Fabian Lee, Steven, Robert, Jimmy Lee, Nicole, Victoria, Guillermo, Matthew, Chevelle, Ernest, and Hailey; and his great-grandchildren Anndria, Zachary, Alayziah, Alexandra, Angelica, Joseph, Jaden, Josue Jr, Neri Rose, Jose Ishmael, Josiah, Dominic, Tristan, Divinci, Mason, and Juliana.

Memorial services will be held for immediate family members only. We invite everyone to honor him in their own personal way.  You will be missed, dad. The lessons you instilled in us will be valued.  You will forever live in our hearts.  May GOD ALMIGHTY welcome you to his kingdom. Rest in peace dad. Love you.
