Francisco “Frank” P. Montalvo, 91, of Siton, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026.

Frank was born on September 17, 1935, in Odem, Texas, to Jose and Rosa Montalvo.  He dedicated 38 years of service to the Coca-Cola Company before retiring.  After retirement, he continued serving his community as a part-time bus driver for Sinton ISD.

Frank enjoyed watching football, playing pool, barbecuing with family and friends, tending to his yard, and keeping up with current events by reading the local newspaper.  Committed to staying active, he could often be seen walking around his neighborhood.  He was a hardworking, devoted, family man whose presence, wisdom, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sisters, Yolanda Montalvo of Sinton and Delia Vasquez of San Antonio; his children, Irma (Ruben) Serrano, Sylvia Ricketts, Diana Montalvo, Rolando Montalvo, Mario (Marcela) Montalvo, and Abel Montalvo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.  His grandchildren lovingly knew him as “Papi Pancho.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rosa Montalvo; and his beloved wife, Maria L. Montalvo.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton, Texas.
