Manuel Buentello Jr., 61, of Odem, Texas passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026.  He was born on July 19, 1964, to the late Manuel Buentello Sr. and Rosa N. Solis.

Manuel spent most of his life as a truck driver and started at a very young age.  He traveled to different places in Texas and outside of Texas.  He also liked to hang out with family and friends, play pool, and BBQ on his property to celebrate any holiday that was coming up, especially Easter and New Years Eve.

Manuel was a father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend and he will be missed dearly.

​

He is proceeded in death by his father Manuel Buentello Sr., both paternal and maternal grandparents, brother Edwardo (Eddie) Buentello, son Noel Buentello Lozano.  Manuel is survived by his mother Rosa N. Solis, his sons Manuel Buentello III, Benjamin (Ashlyn) Buentello, Jose Pedro Buentello, Nicholas Buentello Lozano; stepsons, Randy Garcia and Roel Garcia; granddaughter, Mia Clare Buentello; sisters, Alma Villareal and Janie Apple; nieces, Brooke Apple, Blake Edwards, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home in Sinton, TX.

The Comittal Service will start at 10:30 a.m. and the viewing will follow.​​​
