David Valdez Cordova
In Loving Memory of David Valdez Cordova
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved uncle, David (Pinky) Cordova, who left us on July 6, 2026 at the age of 66.
David was a talented hairdresser who brought joy, confidence, and kindness to everyone who sat in his chair. More than his skill, he was known for his warm smile, compassionate heart, and ability to make people feel seen and valued. His clients became lifelong friends, and his work reflected the love and care he had for others.
To his family, he was a cherished brother uncle and godfather whose love, laughter, and unwavering support created memories that will be treasured forever. He had a special way of bringing people together and filling every room with warmth, humor, and love.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, clients, and all whose lives he touched. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the beautiful legacy of love, kindness, and generosity he leaves behind.
Forever in our hearts, always in our memories, and never forgotten.
He was proceeded in death by his husband of 42 years Domingo Cordova; parents, Ignacio and Guadalupe Valdez; his sisters, Olga Quintanilla and Diana Valdez; and his brother, Ignacio Valdez Jr. He is survived by his sister Hilda Muse and Shirley Estrada and his twin brother Daniel and brother Alberto Valdez, and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
A celebration of David's life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home. The viewing will be held from
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. The funeral burial will be held at San Pedro Cemetery on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to join us as we honor and remember a truly remarkable man.
