Domingo "El Wino" Hernandez, a loving and compassionate Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 at the age of 80.  Born in Harlingen, Texas; he spent his life dedicated to his family, his work, and his many passions.  He was a Cotton Ginner for many years; and well known for his purity of respect and love for his family.  In his retirement, he enjoyed doing household chores, maintaining family time, and spent countless hours sharing stories and wisdom with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Hortensia Hernandez; his children, Ofelia H. (Ruben) Lopez, David (Michaela) Hernandez, Oralia H. Flores, Dennis (Sonia) Hernandez, and Damian Hernandez.  A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home on May 30, 2025 at 10:00 am.  The burial will follow at Lamas Memorial Park in Taft, Texas.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
