Maria Elia Gonzales, 83, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. Elia was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved to play Bingo and pray her rosary.

She is survived by her loving family, her son, Rudy (Janie) Lopez of Portland; her daughters, Gracie Lopez, Rosalinda Lopez, and Judy Lopez of Sinton; her brother, Fermin Morin of Corpus Christi; her sister, Ida Moreno of Taft; the father of her children, Esequiel "Kelo" Lopez; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 7p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
