Elida Torres Franco, 79, loving mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.  Elida enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and was very close to the church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Franco, Sr.; her parents and siblings. She is survived by her loving family, her son,

Francisco (Esmeralda) Franco, Jr. of Poteet; her daughters, Frances   (Rene) Silva and Patricia Contreras of St. Paul; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 9 a.m. to       9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
