Gloria Medina Bargas , 82,  loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025.  Gloria loved sewing, gardening, arts and crafts, and baking.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucio Bargas; her son, Ricardo Medina; and her daughter, Edovigen Hernandez.  She is survived by her grandson, Orlando "Landy" Garza of Metropolis, Illinois; her granddaughter, Jessica (Jacob) Martinez of Odem; her brother, Roland Ramirez of Rosenberg, Texas; her sisters, Frances Hernandez and Mary Cardona of Houston, Texas; her great- grandchildren, Julianna Martinez, Javier Lucio Martinez, Jacob Martinez Jr., Ellyanna Garza, Isyc Garza, Aryanna Garza, and Mykale Garza; as well as numerous relatives and friends.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem.  This will conclude the services.
