In loving memory of Guadalupe Encinia, who passed away peacefully just three days shy of his 79th birthday, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.  Born on October 23rd 1947, in the small town of Odem, Texas; Guadalupe was a beloved son to the late Juan and Cristelia Encinia and grew up alongside his siblings with a deep sense of family and community.

Guadalupe, affectionately known as “Wally” to his family and friends, bravely served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  Embodying the courage and dedication that would define much of his life’s journey.  After returning from service, he found his calling in farming as a career that allowed him to connect deeply with the land and community he loved so dearly.

For 56 years Lupe shared his life with his devoted wife, Maria N Encinia.  Together they raised three sons: Eddie (Missy) Nanez, Lupe (Lucy) Encinia, Jr., and Eric (Nicole) Encinia. Their home was always filled with joy and laughter, a testament to Wally’s quick wit and warm smile.  He never missed an opportunity to share a joke or a kind word, making new acquaintances instantly feel like old friends.

In his retirement, Wally discovered a new passion in volunteering as an assistant coach for his grandchildren’s youth soccer team.  His incredible legacy also includes 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Lupe is survived by his wife- Maria Encinia, and his sons and their families.  Wally also leaves behind siblings, Jesus Encinia, Raul Encinia, and Elida Hernandez.  Wally is predeceased by his parents and his brother, Israel Encinia, whom he joins in eternal rest.
