Jerry Naranjo passed away unexpectedly at the age of 47 on January 6, 2025.  He was a lifetime resident of Odem, Texas.  Jerry is survived by his mother Maria Naranjo; his wife Blanca Morin; his children, Alyssa Marie Naranjo, Darion Danielle Salinas, Jerry Jody Naranjo, and Ezra J. Naranjo; his grandchildren, James Gonzales, Emerald and Madisyn Conard, and also his fur babies, Thor Naranjo and Whiskey Salinas.  He is also survived by his siblings,  Linda (Ian) MacDonald, David (Sonya), Guadalupe (Lydia), Robert (Ronni), and Jason (Melissa) Naranjo. Preceding him in death are his father, Guadalupe Naranjo Sr. and brother, Daniel Naranjo.

Jerry held many titles. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend but his favorite title of all was “Pops”.  Jesus carried him up the stairway to heaven after he took his last breath here on earth, so he could sing his glorious music in the Kingdom of God.

Funeral arrangements will be as follows, the Visitation and Rosary will be held at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home on Friday January 10, 2025 at 4:00 pm. The rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.  A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton, Texas at 10:00 am, followed by the burial at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem, Texas.
