Jimmie Salinas Naranjo
Jimmie Salinas Naranjo, 85, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. Jimmie loved wood working, fishing, sports, cowboy movies, sitting outside bird watching, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren. He was very proud of his Hispanic roots which were very important to him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Flugensio and Genevia Salinas Naranjo and his siblings, John Naranjo, Joe Naranjo, and Eloy Naranjo. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Ida Naranjo of Sinton; his children, Michelle (Robert) Hinojosa of Portland, Jacqueline (Justin) Aragon of Portland, Andrew (Amy) Aguirre of Portland, and Steven (Katherine) Naranjo of Missouri City; his grandchildren, Tyler Henderson, Jerin Henderson, Issac Huerta, Christian Aguirre, Dominic Aguirre, Luke Aguirre, Kolbe Aguirre, Jude Aguirre, Emmitt Naranjo, Lincoln Naranjo, and Juliette Naranjo. He is also survived by his siblings Alfred Naranjo and Genevia Naranjo. ​

A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the rosary starting at 7 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Glen Mullan as celebrant. The interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
