Maria Elsa Mora, 94, loving mother, grandmother, great

grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

​

Maria loved gardening, cooking, singing, shopping, her coffee and

eating, but most of all she loved talking about the Lord.  She is

preceded in death by her husband, Sam Mora and her sons, Ernest,

Eddie, and Arturo Mora.  She is survived by her loving family - her

sons, Manuel Saenz, Gilberto Saenz III of Corpus Christi,

and Sammy Mora, Jr. of Houston; her daughters, Janie Perez

of Sinton, Rosie Martinez, Nora Couch, and Isabel Amos of

Houston; twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren and twenty great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026 with funeral services being held at 11 a.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
