Miguel Aleman, 48, returned to the Lord on Saturday, May 16th, 2026.  Miguel was born in Taft, Texas on August 9th, 1977 to Olivia Aleman and the late Cesar Aleman.  A lifelong resident of Edroy; one of his favorite pastimes was enjoying a trip to the movies.  One of his favorite things to do was heading down to Stripes for a hot dog, Cheetos, and Coke.  He was a big fan of football, loving both the Odem Owls and the Dallas Cowboys.  He had a bright smile, and a warm personality.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cesar Aleman; maternal grandparents, Gabriel and Catarina Lira; and paternal grandparents, Pascual and Maria Aleman.  He is survived by his mother, Olivia Aleman, his sister Victoria (Carlos) Gomez; his brother, David Lucas Aleman; his nephew, Diego Gomez, and his nieces, Katy and Kayla Gomez; alongside many aunts and cousins.  He will be dearly missed.

A rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home in Sinton, Texas.  Funeral services will be held on May 21st, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Edroy, Texas.  Interment will follow at the Edroy Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Julio Aleman, Ramiro Aleman, Sean Braddock, Willie Gonzales, Gabriel Gomez, and Jason
