Norma Jean Garces, 48, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.  Norma Jean was born in Taft, Texas and had been employed as a medical assistant.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Marin Garces.  She is survived by her loving family; her husband, Henry Aguero of Taft; her sons, John (Stacey) Garces of Sinton and Raymond (Jess) Flores of Taft; her daughters, Nayailee (Evan) Flores of Taft and Olivia Montalvo of Oklahoma; her father, Felix (Nelda) Garces of Taft; and her brother, Felix (Michelle) Garces III of Corpus Christi; and two nieces and one nephew.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Taft with Father Peter as celebrant.  This will conclude the services.
