Robin Roxanne Alaniz

Robin Roxanne Alaniz, 38, suffered a lifelong illness, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend; gained her wings and passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025.  Roxy loved baking, but most of all she loved her daughters and family.

​

She is survived by her two daughters, Ezalyn Flores of Sinton and Amberlyn Garcia of Odem; her mother, Mary Ann Vela of Sinton; her father, David (Lucinda) Alaniz of Odem; her sisters, Kimberly Marie (Ernest) Torres of St. Paul, Sabrina (Mark) Perez of Corpus Christi; her brothers, Randy (Glenda) Alaniz of Taft, David (Desiree) Alaniz of Odem, and Ramsey R. Rivera of Sinton.  She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Lydia H. Alaniz of Beeville; a lifelong friend, Audrey Ocampo; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary being celebrated at 7 p.m.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton, with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant.  Interment will follow at John J. Welder Cemetery in St. Paul, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers: Randy Alaniz, Chris Vela Jr., Daniel Pena, Richie Lopez, Roel Anzaldua, and David Williams.  Serving as honorary pallbearer: Ernest Torres Jr.
