Ruby Ann Garza, 56, loving wife, sister and friend went to be with Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Ruby loved her chihuahuas, took great care of them and attended to their needs. She loved to spend her time outdoors under the sun on most, if not, all days.  She also loved to watch movies, new and old.  Her favorite channel was the Food Network and always found time to enjoy different foods.  Ruby always did for others and was a devoted Catholic.

She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Quintero, her father, Cesario Garza, Sr.; her siblings, Alicia Mata, Hector Garza, Irma Garza, Elizabeth Morales, Gregorio Garza, George Quintero and Cesario Garza, Jr.  She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Allan M. Fernandez, her sisters, Rosie and her husband Ben, and Lucresia Quintero and her husband, Eric Lira, Paula Martinez, Ida Rojas, Sylvia Gonzales, and Elsa Martinez; her brothers. Estanislado "Tanis" Garza and Oscar (Kathy) Garza; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 3 p.m. to  9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem with Father George as celebrant.  Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.​
