Ruby Ann Torres

Ruby Ann Torres, 50, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025.  Ruby was born on January 27, 1975 in  Cuero, Texas to Guadalupe Torres and Lucia Blanco. She had been employed as a provider.  Ruby liked to go shopping, color in coloring books, watch her favorite TV shows, and do her makeup; but most

of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Torres and her granddaughter, Myla Lucia Flores.  She is survived by her mother, Lucia (Smitty) Blanco-Smith of Sinton; her sons, Joshua (Marissa) Flores, Christopher (Cassandra) Flores of Sinton, Nicholas (Adriana) Rodriguez of San Antonio and Jose Lopez of Kenedy; her daughters, Abigail Flores of Runge and Nichole Alvarez of Sinton; her brother, Lupe Torres, Jr. of San Antonio; her sister, Rachel Gil of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Noah T. Gutierrez, Tatum J. Mendoza, and Illyana R. Flores.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Yul Ibay as celebrant. Interment will follow at John J. Welder Memorial Cemetery in St. Paul, Texas.
