Thomas "Tommy" Christopher Hernandez, age 55, passed away on April 28, 2025, with his loving family by his side.  Tommy was born April 11, 1970, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jesus G. Hernandez and Angelita Guzman Hernandez.  Tommy grew up in Taft, Texas and was a resident of Sinton, Texas for over 28 years.  He was a hard worker and a painter by trade. Tommy was a kindhearted man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by all.  His family will forever treasure the countless memories they shared.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Gloria Luna Hernandez from Sinton, Texas; his daughters, Christian Lee Hernandez and Destiny Starr Hernandez both from Sinton, Texas; his stepson, Robert (Krystal) Serna Jr. from Sinton, Texas; his brothers, Michael Hernandez from Taft, Texas, David Hernandez from Corpus Christi, Texas, Jesse (Alicia) Hernandez from Taft, Texas; his sister, Jessica Hernandez (Eddie) Ortiz from Portland, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Hernandez; his mother, Angelita Guzman Hernandez; and sister, Sophia Ann Hernandez.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 5 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 

7 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.  Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Glen Mullan as celebrant. This will conclude the services.
