Victor R. Lopez, Sr., 76 , loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, having been stationed in Germany.  He enjoyed watching western shows and the Young and the Restless. ​

He is preceded in death by his parents, Deciderio and Maria Rodriguez Lopez, his sister, Irma Lopez; and his brother, Juan Arnulfo 'Nuko' Lopez.  He is survived by his son, Victor Lopez, Jr. of Sinton; his sisters, Mary Lou (Frank) Gonzales and Olga (David) Gomez of Sinton; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 3 p.m. to      9 p.m. with a holy rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Glen Mullan as celebrant.  Interment will be at 1 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi with full military honors.
