William Calvin Evans, affectionately known as “Little Bill,” was born on April 16, 1947, and passed away on December 12, 2025.

Raised in Odem, Texas, Bill attended Odem High School before pursuing higher education at Texas A&I University in Kingsville, where he earned a degree.

​

Bill possessed a natural talent for sports, but golf truly captured his passion. After college, he embarked on a journey to become a professional golfer. Later in life, he found joy in fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.

​

For an impressive 50 years, Bill dedicated his heart and soul to working and managing the Sinton Golf Course.

​

In 1982, Bill married Terry, the love of his life. This June would have marked their 44th wedding anniversary. 

​

Bill is survived by his wife, Terry, a sister named Martha Krauss, and numerous nieces and nephews who adored him and his beloved dog, Charli.

​

He is preceded in death by his parents, “Big Bill” Evans and Ann Petrus Evans.

​

We will be celebrating Bill’s life on Saturday, December 20th, at a gathering to honor his memory and the impact he had on those around him.
